Located on Stoney Lake's majestic south shore, this exceptional lakefront property historically known as The Irwin Inn, has transitioned from a busy resort to a cottage retreat, The Irwin Cottage!
Owned and operated by the Irwin family since 1947, we have a long, and continuing history of hospitality!
At The Irwin Cottage, our unique lakeside accommodation, we are currently offering three, private lakefront guest suites for individual or group rental at the site of former Irwin Inn, an award winning, year round resort.
This transformation still provides the opportunity to experience Stoney Lake and all it has to offer, with the unprecedented luxury of literally being steps from the lake, backing to majestic trees, parkland, fields and woods.
With this expansive private setting on Irwin Road, our Stoney Lake location beckons you to take in the natural beauty, stunning views, sparkling water, all with a sense of serenity and relaxation!
Activities include canoeing, kayaking, swimming, fishing, boating, hiking, x-country skiing and skating.
Our 4 km of trails in our woods and fields are perfect for a nature hike and to visit our horses at the farm.
Paddle boards, canoes, kayaks, water trampoline, boat cruises, campfires are here for guest use.

Directly oveverlooking Stoney Lake, our lovely two-bedroom lakeside suite features a charming living room with modern furnishings, a stunning wood burning brook-stone fireplace, extending to an open-concept kitchen area. Sliding glass doors from the living room open to a private, screened-in, lakeside balcony with patio furniture, and an incredibly beautiful lake view. The master bedroom is on the main floor and has a king bed. A four-piece bath with deep soaking tub and walk-in shower, is beside the bedroom. The second bedroom is upstairs and has a long double and a single bed and a three-piece bathroom with walk-in shower.
