Attractions in the heart of the Kawarthas
The Inn is in the heart of the Kawartha Lakes district, an area
famous for its dramatic and varied landscape. About half an hour
north of Peterborough, the largest city in the region, the Inn enjoys
a wonderfully scenic location on Stoney Lake and its 1100 islands.

forests, wetlands and rocky ridges or visit The Learning Place interpretive
centre.
Curve Lake First Nation has one
of the finest galleries of Native art in the country with knowledgeable
staff to help you discover the Ojibway history of the area. The
pretty town of Lakefield has a number points of interest and stores
but make sure you watch boats locking through on the Trent-Severn
Waterway.
